Jimmy Carter, M.S., is the coach people call when “working hard” stops working. As Director of Sports Performance and Director of Wellness, he’s built a reputation for turning untapped potential into Division I scholarships, pro contracts, and life-changing transformations.
A former Division I football player at the University of Illinois, Jimmy has lived what most coaches only study. At the NFL Elite Regional Combine, he posted one of the top overall scores with a 9.4/10 — proof that his methods aren’t theory, they’re battle-tested on his own body first.
Over the last 13+ years, Jimmy has trained:
-
Thousands of Division I athletes
-
100+ professional athletes
-
60+ NFL alumni
He’s also one of the original founders of Midwest Boom 7v7 Football Club, the #1 7v7 organization in the country with:
-
500+ D1 alumni
-
60+ NFL alumni
-
17 National Championships
-
108 total championships
In other words: he doesn’t “hope” his system works. The numbers prove it.
Jimmy holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science (Sports Performance & Injury Prevention) from California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Certifications:
-
NASM Personal Trainer
-
NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist
-
NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist
-
NASE Speed & Explosion Specialist
-
TPI Level 1 Golf Performance Specialist
-
Certified Trauma-Informed Coach
That combination of sports science, psychology, and trauma-informed coaching is his unfair advantage. He doesn’t just build faster, stronger bodies — he helps athletes and high performers rewire their nervous system so they stop choking, freezing, or
self-sabotaging when it matters most.
Jimmy is also a co-author of the Amazon best-selling book
Radical Freedom, where he dives into the deeper mindset and emotional patterns that either fuel high performance—or quietly destroy it.
Work with Jimmy, and you’re not just getting “workouts” and “meal plans.” You’re stepping into a high-standard, no-excuses culture where:
-
Data drives decisions.
-
Accountability is non-negotiable.
-
Your results are the only scoreboard that counts.
If you’re serious about winning—on the field, in the gym, or in your life—Jimmy Carter is the one you want designing your game plan.
