Our Mission

At Apex Performance Lab, our mission is to help athletes and active individuals move better, perform at a higher level, and build long-term resilience through intentional, individualized performance training.

We focus on performance, preparation, and recovery—bridging the gap between traditional fitness and long-term athletic development inside a professional performance environment.

Our Staff

Our performance coaches bring dual expertise in strength & conditioning and human movement.

All Apex Performance Lab coaches are credentialed as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) and/or Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT), allowing us to evaluate movement with a deep understanding of biomechanics, adaptation to training stress, and long-term athletic durability—while remaining firmly rooted in performance-based training.

OUR MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT PROCESS

Every athlete begins with a comprehensive movement assessment performed by our performance coaches. This assessment evaluates how the body moves as an integrated system across foundational movement patterns and positions.

Rather than focusing on isolated muscles or exercises, we assess movement quality, symmetry, control, coordination, posture, stability, mobility, and how the athlete manages load through the trunk and extremities.

The purpose of the movement assessment is to establish a clear baseline, identify inefficient or compensatory movement patterns, and inform an individualized performance training strategy that supports performance, durability, and long-term athletic development.

This assessment is non-diagnostic. No medical treatment or rehabilitation is provided.

What to Expect at APL

1. Initial Movement Assessment
Each athlete completes a comprehensive movement screen to establish baseline movement quality and performance capacity.

2. Individualized Program Design
Based on assessment findings, we design a personalized corrective and performance-focused program tailored to the athlete’s sport, training demands, and goals.

3. In-Lab Coaching & Training
Athletes receive guided coaching inside Apex Performance Lab, where movement quality, technique, loading, and progression are closely monitored.

4. Structured Programming Outside the Lab
Athletes are provided with structured programming to complete outside the facility, reinforcing movement quality, strength development, and recovery strategies.

5. Recovery & Performance Education
We educate athletes on mobility work, self-directed recovery strategies, training load management, and readiness habits that support consistent performance.

6. Periodic Reassessment
Movement is reassessed over time to track progress, guide program updates, and ensure continued development.
